Because I am a follower of Jesus Christ, natural bodybuilder/personal trainer I believe my over all well been to be better than average. From the scale from 1-10 I rate my physical wellbeing 9, my spiritual well being 8, and my psychological well being a 9. The reason I never rated anyone of them a 10 is because there is always room for improvement, it doesn’t matter how healthy I am.
I have had the same goal for 10 years; continually improve in all areas mind, body, and spirit. Physical I am always trying to top my last personal record, if I ran 10 miles last year, then this year I will run 11.psycalogicaly I try to read and learn all I can and I also use relaxation techniques to keep my mind and body relaxed, spiritually there is always room to grow but that doesn’t come with memorizing more scriptures like most people think that would still be mental, true spiritual growth involves spending time with God.
Physical exercises are great I combine weight training, diet, and cardio for the physical. For mental visualization and relation techniques and spiritual would be spending time with God
I have heard this relaxation technical in my last class, it really works, and it is relaxing after a hard days work. It is something I would recommend to everyone because stress is a big contributor to most of the health issues today.
Hi Norris,
ReplyDeleteHow long have you been a personal trainer? I did some internship for a couple months on that and really enjoyed it. I am also a follower of Jesus Christ. I was raised in a Catholic church and attended Sunday classes in order to further understand him. I sort of fell off the boat though, I haven't attended mass for years but I still believe in him and pray at each meal I have. Some people criticize me because I have not attended mass. Do you think that you cannot have a strong bond with Jesus if you do not attend mass?
Hello Norrison, I just want to say amen. You have written an awesome post but the thing I like most is that you are a man of God and you are not afraid to say/write it, to God be the glory. I agree, spiritual growth does not come by memorizing scripture alone; it the relationship with God that is most important. I do a lot of praying myself because that's what gets me through. I confess that I need Jesus each and everyday of my life because I am absolutely "nothing" without Him.
