Loving Kindness & Subtle Mind
It is hard for me to compare the love and kindness and subtle mind exercise because they have two different functions but both of them start in the mind with meditation. Love and kindness teaches use how to stop for a minute open our hearts and embrace love. First loving ourselves and then loving others, but in order to do this we have to settle ours minds and focus on one thing; love.
The subtle mind is great because it teaches using how to take control of our own minds because we really don’t have any control at all. I like it because it is great for meditation which I love to do but it take it to another level. I think both of these exercise are equally important but they have two different functions.
I agree with you on your idea that most of our exercises fall under meditation in one way or another. They all seem to have the same basic steps; calming down and clearing your mind. The difference is that these exercises all have different goals. For me, some of these exercises are more effective, faster than others. Are there any particular exercises that worried better for than others?
